Modify Alert Notifications

I’ve had several requests for a few of my old posts including one that demonstrates how to create your own custom alert notifications by modifying the XML.  This whitepaper is still hosed on Combined Knowledge’s web site for anyone interested.

  1. I realize there may be an NDA in place until Mr Balmer takes the stage on Monday, but will SharePoint 2010 have options for modifying alerts that don’t involve using Visual Studio?
